Are you looking for new ways to evaluate the value of your library's work and demonstrate its responsiveness, agility, and value to your organization? Join us for a one-day workshop, where we will introduce you to the New Model Library framework - a lens through which you can plan and assess your library's offerings as well as consider data you can use to tell a compelling story.

This framework can be applied to any type of library, but the workshop will start with a panel of law school deans to discuss organizational goals and how libraries can contribute to them. The facilitators will then dive into the New Model Library framework, where you will identify strategic areas that align with your institution’s mission and goals. You will reflect on what needs to be changed, what challenges you anticipate, and how you can use your library’s strengths to overcome them. The workshop provides the opportunity to explore different assessment approaches based on your priorities. You will work in small groups, providing an opportunity to connect with colleagues and discuss best practices.
