Lynn Silipigni Connaway, PhD

Lynn Silipigni Connaway, Executive Director, Research, OCLC, is Past President of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Past Chair of the Association of College and Research Libraries Value of Academic Libraries Committee, recipient of the ASIS&T 2019 Watson Davis Award, and 2020 Distinguished Alumna, University of Wisconsin-Madison Information School. She held the Chair of Excellence, Departmento de Biblioteconomía y Documentación, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, was a Visiting Researcher, Department of Information Studies, University of Sheffield, and Visiting Scholar, Royal School of Library and Information Science, Denmark. Connaway has received funding from IMLS, Jisc, and the Arts and Humanities Research Council, has numerous journal publications, and is an international speaker and co-author of two editions of Basic Research Methods for Librarians and two editions, Research Methods in Library and Information Science.
