Allison has worked in legal information libraries for over 10 years, supporting teams through collaborative, multi-disciplinary, and technology-based projects. She thrives in challenging, innovative, and mentorial environments. In her current position she challenges perceived conceptions of libraries, and leads Littler’s Knowledge Desk in strategic, knowledge-based projects to align the firm with client demands and the evolving legal market. She strives to build a team of skillful professionals ready for the future of legal technology and support of our legal institutuions. Allison believes that librarians heighten their value among institutional leaders by adopting new technologies, attempting radical projects, and pushing information professional skills to work in sync with the goals of the organization. She is committed to connecting the next generation of legal information professions to the skills and opportunities that will help them succeed.
Allison received the AALL Emerging Leader Award in 2018, Judge’s Choice award at AALL’s Innovation Tournament in 2019, and the PLLIP Best Blogger/Writer of the Year Award in 2021. She has served on boards and various committees in Mid-American Association of Law Libraries and Private Law Libraries and Information Professionals Special Interest Section. She enjoys writing and presenting in numerous venues on management, leadership, and innovation initiatives.
