Jennifer Mart-Rice is the Assistant Director for Access & Collections at the University of Iowa Law Library where she oversees the acquisition, preservation, and discoverability of materials in all formats as well as the access services team. Jennifer has over twelve years of experience in acquisitions, collection development, technical services, and user services within multiple academic institutions and focuses much of her attention on creating a diverse and inclusive collection, curriculum, and library space that supports the evolving needs of our libraries and users. In addition, Jennifer has been teaching, both formally and informally, since 2011 on a variety of basic and advanced legal research topics, legal technology, professionalism, and undergraduate courses related to acclimating to college life. Jennifer is an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL), the Mid-American Association of Law Libraries (MAALL), and the Ohio Regional Association of Law Libraries (ORALL). She is a first-generation college student and an inactive member of the Indiana State Bar.
