Holly M. Riccio is the Director of the California Judicial Center Library, serving the California Supreme Court and the Court of Appeals First Appellate District. A proactive leader, she has a proven record of success in the strategic management and development of legal information and knowledge management departments and teams. She has a decades-long passion for problem-solving and talent development in law firm libraries, having worked in both large law and midsize, regional firms. Holly has a rich professional volunteer background in numerous legal information and legal technology associations, including having served as President of the American Association of Law Libraries. She is currently AALL Leadership Development Committee Chair, GLL-SIS Chair, a member of the PLLIP Summitt Planning Committee and PLLIP Speaker/Mentor Committee, and writes a column on law librarianship and the legal profession for her local chapter. She is a frequent speaker and author, sharing thought leadership in the areas of law librarianship, knowledge management, professional development and leadership skills, and cultivating and leveraging professional connections. Holly received her BA in History from New York University and her MILS from the University of Michigan School of Information.
