Annalee Hickman Pierson (she/her/hers)

Annalee Hickman Pierson is the Head of Reference and Faculty Services and a 1L legal research professor at the Howard W. Hunter Law Library at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She happily joined the law library faculty there in 2016 shortly after completing a J.D. at Brigham Young University and has since completed her M.L.I.S. from San José State University. At Brigham Young University, Annalee oversees the reference and faculty services department, provides faculty research assistance and support, and writes scholarship that focuses on legal reference services, faculty services, legal research instruction, legal education, and law librarianship. Annalee’s participation in the law librarianship profession includes presentations at conferences, committee work, and editorships. She is actively involved in AALL, several SIS groups, and her regional chapter WestPac and is also serving a four-year term as an editorial board member of Legal Writing: The Journal of the Legal Writing Institute.
