Mari Cheney is the associate director for research and instruction at Boley Law Library at Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, where she has worked for 11 years in various reference, teaching, and management roles. Prior to working at Boley, she was the reference librarian at the Utah State Law Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mari has a B.A. in English from Walla Walla University, a J.D. from Washington College of Law at American University., and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington. She has written about her personal experience as a librarian working with a hearing impairment, teaching neurodivergent students, and is the faculty advisor to the Disability Allied Law Student Association.
