Better than Basic: How to Use Your Internal Firm Data for Better CI Reporting

Competitive Intelligence (CI) is an invaluable tool for your organization. Knowledge about outside resources for dossiers and briefs is vast, but what about the wealth at your fingertips inside your firm? Client classification, opportunity analysis, and reports on individual timekeepers (attorneys) are just some examples of reports that you can cultivate. This program will discuss several ways you can harness external and internal data to expand your CI offerings and provide more value-added services to your firm.

Target Audience:

Information professionals who are interested in building out a CI team at their firm, or already have done so and want to expand their current offerings. Though this is probably most beneficial to law firm librarians, ideas can be modified for academic libraries and other special settings.
