Transportation To and From Logan Airport

Prepare for your trip to Boston and familiarize yourself with how to get around. There is a lot to see and much of it is easily accessible via public transportation. NOTE: The Sumner Tunnel is currently closed for restoration, and the city of Boston encourages visitors to use public transportation to get to and from Logan Airport, if possible. The airport is 10 miles from the Hynes Convention Center and AALL hotels. Please review the options below and determine what will work best for you before you leave for Boston.

Bus

The Logan Express stops at all airport terminals. Bus route time is approximately 20 minutes starting every half hour. The cost to ride is $3 (credit or debit card, cash not accepted). Be sure to allow extra time during rush hour periods. All Logan Express coach buses are wheelchair equipped and ADA compliant. If you need additional help, please call 1-800-23-LOGAN (800.262.3335) for 24/7 assistance.

Subway/Rail

Boston T: The Blue Line is free while the Sumner Tunnel is closed for repairs. Access the schedule online and see the service map. For accessibility information, please review the website ahead of time. For specific information on routes and schedules, call 617.222.3200.

Commuter Rail: Service is available from several T stations, but most departures take place at South Station, North Station, or Back Bay Station. For specific information on routes, schedules, and accessibility, see the website or call 617.222.3200 if you have questions.

Taxi

Taxi service is available throughout the city and from Logan International Airport to most hotels in Boston. Taxis are available at each terminal on Arrivals Level except Terminal C where taxis are located on the Ground Level of the Central Parking Garage. You may also book online or call 617.410.7500. Please note taxi service could take an extra two hours depending on the time of day, so plan accordingly. The travel delay will also impact the cost of the fare.

Rideshare

You may use your rideshare apps to get to and from the airport, however, they may not be readily available. Please be aware that there are designated areas for ride app pickups and drop-offs at the airport. Passengers with disabilities going to or coming from Logan Airport will have the choice to be picked up and dropped off in Central Parking, Terminal B Garage or continue on to the accessible locations at the terminal curb areas.

Parking

There are plenty of parking facilities near the Hynes Convention Center. Save money by using the SpotHero app to book your spot ahead of time.
